Make some Noise

Hi Everyone,

just a quick post -  I wanted to get my card in for the current Time Out challenge - again linky is about to expire....

This was my second try - the first one I did not like, but learned how to improve it.
I took the MFT equalizer stencil and inked it up and then smeared clear embossing paste on it. Let it dry, added the sentiment - is by CASual Friday, the set is called Woot, Woot.

Used my Hero Arts Neon inks for that - you can get them at A2z scrapbooking at 15% off, if you use my code Cornelia15

Love how this turned out!
This is the inspiration picture - just up my alley - I knew immediately I had to play, but it was difficult to find time to do it...

I think I got it. The clear embossing paste adds the shine you see in the picture.

OLS - Sparkle and shine - hope the embossing past does not count as second layer - not sure... no sparkle on this card, but lots of shine - you can see it a bit on the first picture

Stunning...YOU NAILED THIS! Loved all the cards you put out for this challenge but this one sings to me. Perfect sentiment, too. Wonderful technique...and it really is just one layer because the embossing paste becomes part of the card base, right? But seriously doesn't matter cuz this is spectacular.

Congratulations on the win, Cornelia. This is so creative. I'm glad you explained how you did it. I was thinking "gluing all those little squares" yikes. You figured out an easier way and it's fabulous!

Easter Egg and Bunny

Hi Everyone, I made a bunch of Easter cards, after all its little more than one month and I need to send them out in time... You see, they are all similar - using both the die cut and the negative, that I cut from a die cut egg. The cute bunnies got their yearly appearance - they are from Impression Obsession. the egg is by Lifestyle Crafts. The sentiment is by Papertrey. And here are bigger photos from this set: Linking up with Creative with Stamps - Easter The Paper Players - die cutting Die Cut Divas - animals Happy Little Stampers - anything goes with dies

Dynamic Duos combined with CAS Colours and Sketches

I am getting the hang of combining challenges....not sure if that's good or bad... In the past I would just put all my "creative energy" into one challenge and then just link up with others, if the card just happened to fit...but now I do that on purpose. Well, I'll see how it goes....                           Anyhow here is the card that came out of this: I did not want to add a sentiment - I 'll add it later, when I know who will get it. And here is a close -up: Challenges: Dynamic Duos CAS Colours and Sketches Addicted to Stamps and More Amusing Challenges Materials: Papertrey Background Basics: Super Stripes, Memory Box Chloe Stem die. --X-- Card for Maddy: You may know already about  Maddy ,  who  was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and went through chemotherapy treatment followed by a stem cell transplant from her (then) fifteen year old sister Melanie.  She now has a relapse and this car
