Thank You and have a great 2016!

Hi Everyone, I finally got over my mental block for the  Winnie & Walter Rerun  and made another card! this time inspired by Heather Pulvirenti's glamorous tag. I took the Multifaceted die and cut myself a stamp out of fun foam. Stamped onto my turquoise card stock and heat embossed it in white. I cut it to size with a stitched die by SSS. The THANKS die is W&W, as is the sentiment. The diamond is by Ellen Hudson.    I just love to make my "own" stamps with fun foam. Cuts down on some of the expenses - you can just buy the die and make your own stamps. I love reading your comments, they brighten my day and keep me going and inspired!  I truly appreciate it. THANK YOU again and I wish you all a happy, healthy and creative 2016

Birthday Wishes

Hi Everyone, all month long I wanted to play in the  Winnie & Walter Rerun and again I made it kind of last minute... I kept getting stuck on not having that featured stamp set - now why didn't I order it???.....darn... I guess I can't have everything :( So as you can see I settled on using a different set called Our Town . I like those cute little houses and all the other elements that come with the set. I also like that it can be used for many different occasions. I CASEd Vanessa's gorgeous card. I took the water color element, the color choices and the sprinkle of sequins. So, it turned into a similar, but nonetheless different card! I like it! I need some wintry  looking birthday cards. Happy Stamping!

Some more Christmas Cards...

Hi Everyone, there still are some Christmas cards  I made awhile ago and have not yet posted.... This one I made for the  Runway Inspired Challenge . The inspiration photo is below. I found it a little tricky to make this into a Christmas card, but with the help  of Neat&Tangled stamps it worked....The stitched dies are by Simon Says. Added some Washi tape on top (the headdress) and silver glitter paper at the bottom (the floor and silver shoes) and voila a Christmas card! My second card I made with an iStencil, gold embossing paste, faux pearls, an enamel dot and lots of splatters. The stitched die I cut the Kraft panel with is by Simon Says. I love this stencil and stenciled cards are just so quick and easy to make. I used this one for several cards this year, on of which you can see HERE . http://www.istencils.com/store/products/22-00029 I am linking up this card with: Stamps and fun=Creativity - Christmas Use your stuff - me

Happy Little Elephant

Hi Everyone, I have a bunch of New Years cards for you today! I made them with my Misti - perfect, if you have several cards to make, although I rarely ever do that.... All stamps are by Happy Little Stampers - Kylie, the owner has created wonderful stamps - I love them! I colored that adorable little elephant with Copics. On the two cards below I used multicolored ink pads.  I am linking up with: Friday Mashup  - New Years theme IN{K}SPIRE_me Challenge #230  -  Neujahrs-Special Happy Little Stampers - Anything Goes Make My Monday - New Year The Crazy Challenge  - Celebrations Double Click Skittles - something new - New Year Happy Stamping!

Flower Hello

Hi Everyone, I made a card for the Paper Smooches challenge , since that inspiration picture is so beautiful! Not sure if I managed to do it justice, but at least I tried. This is the inspiration picture: All stamps and the die are by Paper Smooches. Added the bow. I then mounted the tag with fun foam. Happy Stamping!

Snowflake Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone, did you all have a Merry Christmas? I hope you did. We enjoyed our Christmas. We celebrate on the 24th in the evening, as is customary in Germany. My husband cooked something delicious and the kids and I decorated the tree. Yesterday we had another delicious meal at my sister's house, getting our families together.  But back to card making.... I want to share some Christmas cards I made a while ago: For this one I used that 3D embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers. The snowflake is by Papertrey and the sentiment is by Neat&Tangled. I also ripped up some washi tape and put it onto the card stock, before I ran it through my big shot. Added some thin beading wire with beads and sequins I am linking up with following challenges: STAMPlorations December sketch challenge QKR Stampede Challenge #171  -  Snowmen or Snowflakes Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - Make it Sparkle Stempeleinmaleins - Schnee My second card is quite

Happy 2016

Hi Everyone, 2016 is coming real soon and there were a few of my friends that did not get a Christmas card, so I am sending out New Years cards..... I got inspired by the Ellen Hutson Pinsights challenge. All stamps and dies are Ellen Hutson. I heat embossed the stamps in silver and added silver and red splatters, as well as a silver enamel dot. Rounded the bottom corners.  The Champagne glasses are mounted with foam dots. Now you can have a merry New Years celebration! Thank You Waffleflower

Hi Everyone, almost Christmas, but what is that? This wiener dog just weaseled himself in here, in complete disregard of all the upcoming festivities... And once was not enough - he has to show up 4 times...Originally I planned on three times, but I smudged the card, so this required another appearance ;) Well, that cutie is by Waffle flower, one of my brand new stamp sets. I love it! Of course I am playing in the Waffle flower challenge , which at first caused me some consternation - stamp layering??? Well, I finally got what that meant. So I pulled out some stamps I cut myself a looooong time ago from rubber scraps and did some stamp layering as a background, using kind of the colors from the inspiration photo. Added the Wiener dog - nice layering, huh? The enamel dots have two functions - first, they balance the card and second - the color shows up in the inspiration photo.  Also linking up with: Sunday Stamps - sketch, see below (I stretched it a b

Have a FIN-tastic Day!

Hi Everyone, I am taking a break from showing you Christmas cards I made - although I still have a whole bunch of them, that did not yet make it onto the blog...perhaps I'll just leave them in my folder and pull them out in case I have another health crisis, which hopefully will not ever happen again... Your Next Stamp has the cutest stamps and I love playing in their challenges. This time I am only going with the sketch, but I made it a bit asymmetric.  The stamps are YNS, of course. I colored the fish with Copics and drew in a few more air bubbles. The background is a stencil by Memory Box and I die cut the squares with a Simon Says die. And just for fun I added glossy accents to the  mask and the bubbles. This is the YNS sketch: Linking up with: The Snippets Playground  - use a snippet (the fish) Inkspirational  - anything but Christmas Happy Stamping!

Snowman Card

Hi Everyone,  a quick post -  Shopping our Stash  (theme - let it snow) is closing in a few minutes and I want to participate! It is snowing on my card, although not here in New Jersey. Rather warm for this time of the year.....  My friend Kim Heggins inspired me with her fun card she made for Double Click Skittles. All  my stamps are by Paper Smooches. I dry embossed the background and added Stickles to all those "snowflakes". Some PP on the side an an enamel dot. Also linking up with: Double Click Skittles - use a snowman Noor!
