Muse Christmas Visions #98

Hi Everyone, my teamie Lindsey made an interesting Christmas card to spark our imagination over at MCV . I must say, it was a real challenge for me. This is her card: So, after some serious thinking, I went with the snowflakes and the blue color. The snowflakes are one stamp by Hero Arts, the sentiment is also Hero Arts, but a different set. I added some Wink of Stella and Perfect Pearls for a bit of shimmer. It does not show very well... I also added a poem to the inside of my card: This is by a British Stamp company. You have until Monday April 30th 8 AM to play along - what do you think? Do you feel the challenge? I am curious, with what you can come up. Linking up with: Merry Monday - favorite poem CHNC #382 - anything Christmas

Stampotique - Skating Richard

Hi Everyone, just a quick card made with the cute little Skateboard and Richard Pelvis from this month Stampotique release. The sentiment is older, but fits perfectly. I used an embossing plate for the background, the die cut silhouette if by MFT. Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Inkspirational - Play Craft Stamper TIMI Challenge - anything goes

Katzelkraft Twofer

Hi Everyone, It's time to play along with the Twofer challenge ! I did not want to wait until the last minute again... As you see, the requirement is pets. Birds can be pets - I had lots of them at some point in my life. Thankfully no more.... The Katzelkraft set is used is called Les Piafs .  So I settled on making a Fathers Day card - its coming up, as you know. And this bird looks quite dapper with his hat and tie (from  Impression Obsession). I colored him with Inktense pencils, The branch is by Memory Box and the sentiment is Studio 112. The second card I stamped and masked and colored with Inktense pencils. The sentiment is by STAMPlorations -pulled out my sewing machine for it. As you can see I also drew some inspiration from Kara  - her DT cards are just amazing! Katzelkraft - Tree

Turned the tree around and stamped it upside down with white ink. smeared some white stripes with the ink pad directly onto the card to mimic water. Added the sentiment. It's from the English Quotes . Used a stitched die to trim the card. Added Washi tape. Mounted it onto a white card base. Retirement Card

Hi Everyone, my long-time dear work colleague is retiring to Florida and she needs a decent card to celebrate this occasion. I have worked with her for almost 18 years. I am happy for her to be able to retire, but I also have severe retirement envy.... I took two Your Next Stamp sets to make this card. The layout I took from the current YNS challenge. Used Simon Says stitched dies  to cut the circles and marked them on a piece of water color paper. Stamped the croc and flamingo and colored them with water brush pens and Inktense. Stamped the sentiment. Mounted the top panel with foam tape. I actually added on an additional page - it more a little booklet than a card, so that all my colleagues can sign as well. I attached it with Washi tape. You can see it peeking out a bit on the first picture. Linking up with: Your Next Stamp - see sketch below (I just reversed it) AAA Cards challenge - perfect day (the day I can retire)
